Jean Nystrom

I live in McKinley, a suburb of Cumberland. I have always loved to draw. As a teacher in country schools you had to do it. After my husband died in 1981 I made up my mind to take some classes. Through Community Ed and workshops. I started out in acrylic but used them watered down like watercolor. I love watercolor because you never know what is going to happen. I paint for my own enjoyment and if other people like them I am thrilled. My other hobbies are quilting, rosemaling, sewing and reading, so my life is full.
